Next election: Castro has announced that he will seek re-election for Mayor of San Antonio in 2013.  He has not confirmed or denied that he will be running for Governor of Texas in 2014.  Well, he hasn't specifically denied he'll be running.  There's still a chance he will not run in 2014.
